The Analysis

Welcome to FanEx 2008!

To your left, you'll find links the 2008 Fantasy Experts League Analysis Draft.

Most fantasy players consider the FAD THE premier online mock draft.

Why?  Two reasons:

1)  You'll find a wide variety of experts in FanEx - not just the staffs of a particular website.

2)  Because we analyze each pick.  It's more important to know WHY we made our selections than to merely have a list of WHO was picked where.

Follow along with your favorite experts all throughout the season to see who takes home the 2008 FanEx crown!

DRAFT ORDER

1.  Chris Rito/Mike Nazarek - The brains behind Fantasy Football Mastermind and his trusty sidekick bring over 30 years of combined fantasy football experience to the table.

2.  TC Cannon - Everybody Loves Raymond, and Everybody knows TC.  Cannon hosts the popular YouthFantasyFootball.com site, priming the next generation of FFL'ers to join the ranks.

3.  Jerome Hickerson - Jerome started his website, TalkFootball.com about three years before Al Gore invented the internet.  He's been around awhile and really knows his stuff.

4.  John Georgopoulos - John was sitting around one day thinking about inventing Gridiron Grumblings, and since it was raining and he couldn't mow the lawn, went for it.  John now grumbles about all sports, not just football.  He holds the record for longest last name in FanEx, and is the only one of us with his own Wikipedia page.

5.  Jim Butler - Jim's been around since the start of FanEx, and was the creator of the Global Fantasy Football Leagues, the original directory for anyone looking to join a league locally or online.

6.  Shannon O'Leary - Shannon's kind of the Walter Mitty of our group.  He's the regular guy who regularly sticks it to the so-called "experts" in this league.  Ask him sometime about his night on the Vegas strip.

7.  Chris Dolfi/Tom Walls - Avowed lifelong Eagles fans and season ticket holders can be heard on Philadelphia's Sportstalk 950 and read at FantasySharks.com.  They're our radio guys.

8.  Ian Allan - Ian publishes Fantasy Football Index, one of the oldest and most-respected pre-season fantasy football magazines.  You can also catch him answering your e-mails at FantasyIndex.com.

9.  Duane Cahill - Duane has been online, in pre-season magazines, had a syndicated newspaper fantasy column, did radio work and can now be seen on Fox Sports Pittsburgh.  He hopes to someday find something and stick to it.

10.  Greg Kellogg - Greg was one of the co-founders of FanEx, and has contributed to and headed various websites (GridironGrumblings.com, Komments.com, et al.) and was FoxSports.com's FFL Producer.  He also writes for SportsIllustrated.com.

11.  Matt Pitzer - Matt is currently USA Today's Fantasy Football resident genius.  In addition to writing for America's Newspaper and USA Sports Weekly, he hosts chats at the USAToday.com website.

12.  Tony Holm - The creator of FantasySharks.com.  2008 will be the 14th year of Tony's online "Prognosticator" column.  He's also commenting on this draft, so if you want a weird endless loop experience, first click here, then click on his link to this page.
